What a disappointment! I was looking forward to a new sandwich shop in the area but after the first visit, I doubt I will go back. The bread they use is tasteless and not even toasted. Also, they only serve you half the sandwich (what happened to the other half?). They claim the sandwiches are fresh, but they are brought to you in a clear, plastic bag instead of on a plate -- WTF?!? And don't expect any sides like pickles, salad, fries, etc. because you won't get any. We ordered a juice which was delivered in a half empty glass too. This place is unbelievably bad -- almost too funny for words. I could go on about the menu too but I won't -- just do yourself a favour and stay away from this joint.
Heard a lot of good things about the breakfast here and I was looking forward to check this place out. The menu is interesting, but unfortunately, the food quality doesn't live up.The poached eggs that I ordered were too hard and overcooked. Also, my friend's glass of orange juice arrived half empty. I was also surprised that they charge 15 RMB for bread when every other restaurant I know of provides it for free. The waitstaff is in dire need of training. They also refused to let another group sit in the verandah seats saying that they were reserved, even though nobody else sat there the entire time that we were there, and a different waitstaff let a different group of walk-ins take the table later. Then they asked us to leave early because they said another group had reserved our table, even though there were other tables available in the restaurant. Overall, a really bad experience.
Just happened to come across this restaurant one day as I was heading to Med Cafe and decided to give this place a try instead. The place is well-decorated and comfortable with the tables spread far enough apart to allow intimate conversation. The menu is diverse and the food is tasty -- although the portion size could be a bit larger. Service is friendly and attentive.

I read some good reviews about this place so I decided to check it out with a friend. Maybe the restaurant had an off night or something but we had a terrible experience. The pasta dish I ordered was hard and just barely edible. My friend's salmon dish was just so-so. Although the manager had a lot of time to carouse and mingle with other Italian guests, he did not have the time to ask us how our meal was and give us an opportunity to express our disappointment. In addition, the service was slow and unresponsive. One other issue I had is that the tables are so close together that it gets quite noisy inside as the place fills up. Anyways, due to the positive experience that other friends have had there, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again at some time in the future.

Nice decor and ambience. The dishes benefit from the emphasis on visual presentation and manage to pull off a unique flair. The food itself is pretty tasty and I especially liked the noodles. There also seems to be some more expensive rooms and other sections but I didn't get a chance to take a look. Perhaps next time! Overall, I think this restaurant delivers pretty good value and I recommend it if you are entertaining clients or people from out-of-town.
