free manicures and shoe shines while you're waiting, wireless internet, snacks and drinks, from the start of your visit at here its hard not to like this place. Sure, you may be waiting for an hour or so before you get a table but this place makes the wait more bareable than any other spot in the city. The DIY sauce bar is a lot of fun and has a lot of snacks and fruit on it as well, you can get an excellent, all you can drink lemonade or liang cha for RMB3/person, plus all your hotpot favorite fresh ingredients to dip in their excellent spicy (or regular) hotpot. For smaller parties or if you're looking for lots of options, half portions of everything (meat or vegetables) can be ordered.

Easily one of my favorite hotpot restaurants in town, here delivers great and spicy hotpot in a great atmosphere. I particularly like the condiment bar, which allows you to create your own custom dipping sauce. My personal favorite is to take the majiang, add some crushed peanuts and chili oil. The only downside to the place is that it is extremely popular, which leads to long waiting times. Fortunately, with a sense for customer service, they provide free snacks and even manicures while you wait.It is definitely worth a try if you are in the mood for hotpot. It's not as classy as others, but it provides just what hotpot should be: quality ingredients in a raucous atmosphere.
If you really want, you can even get your nails done. I kinda wish they'd get rid of this option, as the nauseating smell of chemicals waifing over is almost as overpowering as the hotpot itself.With the pot split in half, one side for regular broth and one side for spicy broth, please note that they don't mess around with the hot peppers.I love spicy food, but if they add the entire bag of pepper sauce into the broth, it becomes a potent antiseptic that brings waves of tears to my eyes.I'd recommend asking for half the bag to be added - then you can add more to taste (especially since they fill it up with regular broth later, diluting the spiciness).And at the end of the day, stomach full of meat, boiled veggies, some self-made peanut sauce concoction, and beer.... the bill comes out, and you can't help but smile.
I don't know how much of this is true, but since the owner of the place seems to have some unusually advanced insights into the relationship between making money and treating people well, I wouldn't be too surprised if it were all true.The only problem is, apparently other people also caught on that here is a great choice for hotpot, because without reservations, you may have to wait upwards of two hours for a table. Showing another rare characteristic of forethought, here has anticipated this long wait and set up tiny tables with board games and fruits and nuts platters (though I'd rather just sit down and eat the meal I came for).
