came here for desert after 天家。 just as every one metioned. the cakes are good, not worth 45 rmb, service is not worth 15% service charge.

recommanded by a japanese friend.  hard to make reservation in its old branch. this one is also hard to find. the food quality is good though.

Bombana is an ex-Ritz Calrton HK executive chef.  He opened same name restaurant in HK. within 1 year, it got michelin 3 star, only italian michelin 3 star outside italy.  Its shanghai restaurant is newly open in Feb, 2012.  We have to make reservation 1 week ahead.  Overall the food is execellent, one of the best restaurants in Shanghai I had now. But it is not as good as the one I had in HK.

you're really treated like a VIP for every little details to ensure a luxury dining experience, from beautiful waitress with channel outfit, to handsome tepenyaki chef with hugo boss outfit, fendi crystal light, amarmi casa deco,  wedgwood, v&b dining set, hermes table cloth...  just name a price, the chef will cook for you with australian wagyu beef, lobster, foie gras... the final check is presented within Louis Vuitton wallet. good food, good presentation, handsome and beautiful server... should try it out.  I heard they may change the boss, the price will start to go "平民路线“。

I frequently visit this book store in HK causeway.  Now they opened their first mainland store in Beijing.    Unlike other bookstores in China, this one carrys more art, architecture, design and english books.   it's very close to my beijing home, I will visit there often.
